What to consider when choosing your location:

• First consider the region of Maine where you would like to capture your maternity portraits - I offer locations along the coast from Kittery to Lubec and also have special locations along the shores of lakes, and rivers across the state as well as several unique spots throughout the Katahdin region and western Maine mountains.

• Second consider any special features you’d like in your portraits - some of the top requests are Katahdin or one of many historic lighthouses.

• The third thing to consider when choosing your location is how much of an adventure are you up for. You can choose anything from a quiet - in/around your home lifestyle family session, to one of many scenic locations across the state, each offering a variety of adventure photo options. For example, you know you want photos in western Maine near a river - but do you want to hop in?!

• We discuss and plan out all of the details in our planning call via zoom before your session. Once you’ve decided about where in Maine you’d like to do your maternity photos, and have a general idea what you’re hoping for out of your portraits - I will give recommendations on the best locations to achieve your goals, and we’ll set a date!
